Manang Jennica’s Duwende in a Pot

On January 27, Zion and I went to Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife to visit my best friend’s booth at the Philippine Plant Festival.

Duwende In A Pot, Booth #36

Among the many gifts and talents that Jennica has (doll making, infant hygiene coaching, acting, etc.), I admire her most for being a Plant Empath. If you ask me why, my immediate answer is this: She has a gift for creating/growing beautiful plants!

What I love about my best friend most is that when she pursues something, she always give more than her 100%! The patience, determination and the labor of love surely show whenever her finished products are launched to the public.

Duwende In A Pot  was first seen on Instagram on September 12, 2018 and was launched for “dwarfling adoption” the next day, September 13, 2018.

As soon as they go live, all dwarflings (plants/ cacti) would be sold out right away! Thanks to the many plant/ succulent lovers and enthusiasts who adopted!

Who wouldn’t want to adopt this beautiful Brushable Dwarfling, right?

Adopting dwarflings are usually done online and via Lala Move delivery; but this year, Duwende In A Pot participated in Philippine Plant Festival! The festival started last January 25, 2019 and will end on February 5, 2019. You still have a day left to come and visit the participating booths (8 AM to 6 PM)! **UPDATE: The Philippine Plant Festival is extended until Feburary 10, 2019!**

A visit to Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife wouldn’t be complete without seeing the wild animals with these kiddos! One thing they had in common? These three cuties wanted to see the snakes!

Aren’t they adorable?

After running around, touring the park, and eating ice cream, we went back to Jennica’s booth. I was talking to Zion about adopting a plant and asked him to choose what he’d like to buy. His godmother Jennica surprised him by giving him the plant of his choice as a gift.

Not only that did he get a plant with crystal, he also experienced Sound Healing for the first time!

Before his godmother begin the ritual of energizing his new plant, he asked Zion to make a wish, and to write it down on a piece of paper.

She rolled the paper, tied a ribbon on it, and placed it inside the large sound healing crystal bowl. The plant Zion chose was inside the smaller crystal bowl.

Jennica used her instruments as she energized the plant and prayed that Zion’s wish would come true.

If you’re curious to know his wish was, well, he wished that the plant he’s adopting will survive. It was a simple wish to keep a plant alive, but it did melt our hearts upon hearing him say those words.

Here is my son’s plant with crystal, which he named “Corazon“. I have no idea why, but he said it was he first thing that came to his mind.

Corazon has been with us for a week now, and is still alive! Hooray! At least my son got the green thumb I have always wanted. LOL!

I asked him if he enjoyed our little trip to the park, and if he was happy with the sound healing experience with his Ninang Jennica — with a huge smile on his face, he said “Yes, mommy!

We had to leave early because we needed to go to UP to watch my husband play football. We really wanted to show our support to Jennica and Duwende In A Pot that’s why we made sure to pay a visit before the festival ends.

In our 25 years of friendship, you never cease to amaze me with the many things you can do!Congratulations sis!!! Please know that I am very proud of you! Always am, and always will! Continue to do what you love, and we’re here to support you all the way! Love you, sis!
